MAINTENANCE TERMS & CONDITIONS 2018

1. Complimentary maintenance and warrantee period
1.1. The number of complimentary maintenances that a customer is entitled to is
dependant on the number of pots they are invoiced for.
1.1.1. 1-150 pots, entitled to one complimentary maintenance session, over a
30-day time frame (warrantee period).
1.1.2. 151-300 pots, entitled to two complimentary maintenance sessions,
over a 60-day time frame (warrantee period).
1.1.3. 301-500 pots, entitled to three complimentary maintenance sessions,
over a 90-day time frame (warrantee period).
1.2. Only during this complimentary maintenance period will we replace plants free of cost (refer to item 3)
1.3. If the timer or irrigation is touched by anyone not employed by PAPS Vertical Gardens, the warrantee period is void.

2. Maintenance sessions and packages
2.1. There is a minimum call out fee of $130, minimum maintenance session time of one hour.
2.2. One off maintenance sessions
2.2.1. The service fee for a one-hour maintenance session for a garden with pots is $130.00, this is how long the maintenance team are given to maintain a garden of 150 pots or less.
2.2.2. The service fee for a one-and-a-half-hour maintenance session is $190.00, this is how long the maintenance team are given to maintain a garden of size 151-300 pots.
2.2.3. The service fee for a two-hour maintenance session is $220.00, this is how long our maintenance team are given to maintain a garden of size 301-500 pots.
2.2.4. The cost of replacement plants is not covered during a one-off maintenance session during the period of a seasonal maintenance package.
2.3. Maintenance sessions which need to go longer than the scheduled amount of time require on the spot payment of $65 for an extra hour, no less. However, if this session impacts future appointments, an additional session will be scheduled for a minimum fee of $130.
2.3.1. If a client wants to pay less than the total recommended amount time for a maintenance session, we cannot guarantee that the garden will be maintained within the period that they’ve paid for.
2.4. Seasonal maintenance package pricing
2.4.1. The fee for four one-hour maintenance sessions, occurring seasonally, is $468.00, appropriate for a garden of size 1-150 pots.
2.4.2. The fee for four one-and-a-half-hour maintenance sessions, occurring seasonally, is $684.00, appropriate for a garden of size 151-300 pots.
2.4.3. The fee for four two-hour maintenance sessions, occurring seasonally, is $792.00, appropriate for a garden of size 301-500 pots.
2.4.4. The cost of replacement plants is not covered under a seasonal package
2.5. Premium maintenance package pricing
2.5.1. The fee for twelve one-hour maintenance sessions, occurring monthly, is $1326.00, appropriate for a garden of size 1-150 pots.
2.5.2. The fee for twelve one-and-a-half-hour maintenance sessions, occurring monthly, is $1938.00, appropriate for a garden of size 151-300 pots.
2.5.3. The fee for twelve two-hour maintenance sessions, occurring seasonally, is $2244.00, appropriate for a garden of size 301-500 pots.
2.6. Special requirement gardens include gardens which are over a pool or over the height of 3m as it is a legal requirement for Paps Vertical Gardens to send two people from the maintenance team out to maintain these types of gardens.
2.6.1. The service fee for a one-hour maintenance session of a special requirement garden, is $195.00, this is how long the maintenance team are given to maintain a garden of 150 pots or less.
2.6.2. The service fee for a one-and-a-half-hour maintenance session of a special requirement garden, is $288.00, this is how long the maintenance team are given to maintain a garden of 151-300 pots.
2.6.3. The service fee for a two-hour maintenance session of a special requirement garden, is $350.00, this is how long the maintenance team are given to maintain a garden of 151-300 pots.
2.7. Seasonal maintenance package pricing for special requirement gardens
2.7.1. The fee for four one-hour maintenance sessions for special requirement gardens, occurring seasonally, is $702.00, appropriate for a garden of size 1-150 pots.
2.7.2. The fee for four one-and-a-half-hour maintenance sessions for special requirement gardens, occurring seasonally, is $1037.00, appropriate for a garden of size 151-300 pots.
2.7.3. The fee for four two-hour maintenance sessions for special requirement gardens, occurring seasonally, is $1260.00, appropriate for a garden of size 301-500 pots.
2.8. Premium maintenance package pricing for special requirement gardens
2.8.1. The fee for twelve one-hour maintenance sessions of a special requirement garden, occurring monthly, is $1989.00, appropriate for a garden of size 1-150 pots.
2.8.2. The fee for twelve one-and-a-half-hour maintenance sessions of a special requirement garden, occurring monthly, is $2938.00, appropriate for a garden of size 151-300 pots.
2.8.3. The fee for twelve two-hour maintenance sessions of a special requirement garden, occurring monthly, is $3570.00, appropriate for a garden of size 151-300 pots.
2.9. Custom maintenance pricing
2.9.1. Custom maintenance pricing is required for gardens which; have over 500 plants, are difficult to access and/or do not have available parking.
2.9.2. Any garden which needs custom pricing requires a customized quote for maintenance.
2.9.3 We only maintain special requirement gardens in Victoria.
and
2.9.4 Gardens located outside of the Melbourne metropolitan area may be subject to additional costs for maintenance.

3. Plant replacement
3.1. Plants are replaced free of cost if plants struggle during the clients’ garden’s complimentary maintenance period (based on number of pots) due to incorrect selection for the environment.
3.2. Plants are replaced free of cost if they are struggling due to environmental factors* and the client has purchased a premium maintenance package.
3.3. Once the design of the garden is approved and finalized, no plants will be replaced free of cost based off a want for change of design.
3.4. Plants damaged by possums are not replaced free of cost during complimentary maintenance period or under any other circumstances.
3.5. Plants are replaced free of cost if they are struggling due to irrigation during warrantee period.
3.6. Plants are not replaced free of cost if they are struggling due to irrigation outside of the warrantee period.
3.7. Plants are not replaced free of cost if they are in a state which can be healed
3.8. Plants are not replaced free of cost if they are stolen out of a garden
3.9. Plants are not replaced free of cost if they are not PAPS Vertical Gardens plants
3.10. The cost of a potted replacement plant is $34
3.11. The cost for a swapped plant* is $24
3.12. The cost of plants needs to be paid prior to appointment, on the spot or credit card details need to be given by customer
3.13. If irrigation is touched by someone not employed by PAPS Vertical Gardens, the cost of replacing plants which die because of irrigation issues are not covered by PAPS Vertical Gardens
3.14. Seasonal plants, such as herbs, do not get replaced free of cost under any circumstances

4. Replacement timer warrantees
4.1. Rainbird timers are not guaranteed by PAPS Vertical Gardens as they are not manufactured by PAPS Vertical Gardens.
4.2. If the timer has been installed incorrectly then the cost of the service fee will be covered.
4.3. If the timer is faulty, the cost of a new timer is covered, the service fee is not covered.
4.4. Customers need to pay for the cost of replacement timers if they are not faulty

* Environmental factors include; wind, sun, heat, frost
* A swapped plant is defined when a client gives us back a PAPS brand pot and a plant, to be replaced with a PAPS brand pot and plant.
